British International School of Science, Music & Arts Visits KCCR

In commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, students and staff from the British International School of Science, Music & Arts paid a special visit to the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR) on Thursday, 12th February 2026.

The visit aimed at inspiring young learners, particularly girls, to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through interactive sessions and engagements with researchers, students gained firsthand insight into ongoing scientific research and the vital role of women in advancing global health and innovation.

The visit reinforced the importance of mentorship, representation, and equal opportunities in shaping the next generation of scientists.
