We were delighted to host Prof. Debbie Shawcross, Clinician Scientist and Professor of Hepatology at King’s College London, for a thought-provoking seminar at KCCR.

Her talk, “Targeting the gut microbiome to treat liver disease and antimicrobial resistance,” shed light on the crucial role of the gut microbiome in liver health and highlighted innovative approaches to addressing antimicrobial resistance-one of today’s most pressing global health challenges.

The seminar sparked engaging discussions among researchers, clinicians, and students, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives to guide future research and collaborations.

We are deeply grateful to Prof. Shawcross for sharing her expertise and look forward to welcoming her again.
