The Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR) proudly congratulates Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo and Professor Richard Odame Philips on their recognition in the AD Scientific Index 2026 i10 Productivity Rankings in Ghana.

Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo, Board Chairman of KCCR and former Pro Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, is widely recognised for his impactful work in public health, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and global health research. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening biomedical research, scientific mentorship, and international collaborations across Africa and beyond.

Professor Richard Odame Philips, Scientific Director of KCCR, has also made remarkable contributions to infectious disease and neglected tropical diseases research. Through his leadership, KCCR has continued to expand its scientific impact, research capacity, and global partnerships, positioning the Centre as a leading institution for tropical medicine research in Africa.
