Illumina Sequencing Team Visits KCCR for Seminar on Infectious Diseases and Microbiology

On 8th October 2024, the staff and students at the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) welcomed a team from Illumina Sequencing for an insightful seminar on Illumina’s innovative solutions in the fields of infectious diseases and microbiology. The event took place at the KCCR Seminar Room.

The Illumina team, comprising Dr. Lydia Hadjeras, Genomic Specialist at Illumina; Harry Kwame Adi, Field Specialist at ISN; and Obed Arinze Modebe, General Manager of International Business at ISN, shared valuable insights into how Illumina’s sequencing technologies are advancing research and diagnostics in infectious diseases.

The presentations sparked meaningful discussions and opened new possibilities for future partnerships.
