The KCCR Labs team successfully hosted an engaging 5-day workshop on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics. Held from November 25 to 29, 2024, at KCCR, the workshop emphasized the application of NGS techniques to study bacterial and viral pathogens responsible for diseases. It brought together participants from diverse backgrounds, eager to enhance their skills and knowledge in genomic research and bioinformatics.

The hands-on training covered essential wet lab techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, library preparation, and data sequencing, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in generating high-quality sequencing data.
