Sod cutting towards establishing Clinical Trial Facility at St Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu

A sod-cutting ceremony was held at St Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu on 3rd August 2021 towards the development of a clinical Trial Facility. This will provide the infrastructure to allow participation in the conduct of FDA approved, internationally accepted clinical trials to eventually improve health care in Ghana. This is a collaborative work between the St Francis Xavier Hospital, the infectious diseases epidemiology group at KCCR and the Bernard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine(BNITM).  Funding is provided by the BNITM Germany
