In a groundbreaking moment at the United Nations General Assembly Science Summit, Professor Alex Debrah of the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR-KNUST) captured the world’s attention as he gave a speech on how the TAKeOFF project, funded by The German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), has set its sights on tackling the obstacles of elephantiasis and river blindness in Africa.
The summit which takes place from September 12th to 29th September, 2023 is a part of the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78).
