KCCR ORGANIZES MANDATORY FIRE SAFETY TRAINING TO MEET HEFRA REQUIREMENTS

The Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine organized mandatory fire safety training for all staff and students on Thursday, 9th April and Friday, 10th April 2026, in line with compliance requirements of Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HEFRA).

The training aimed to strengthen awareness and preparedness in fire prevention, emergency response, and safe evacuation procedures within the institute. Participants were taken through essential fire safety protocols, including the identification of fire hazards, proper use of fire extinguishers, and steps to take during emergency situations.
