April 25, 2022

As part of their contribution to the COVID-19 response in Ghana, Dr Mark Keatley and Mrs Rosemary Keatley former Managing Director, Medlab Services Ghana Ltd secured a grant of $46,650 to cover the license and hardware for the installation of CGM Schuylab, a Laboratory Information System. This new system is installed on equipment used by the Virology Team at KCCR and Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research. The system is able to interface with analysers used by the virology team and includes a barcoding system and a printer. A project manager, Bruce Miller was on site at KCCR to train KCCR staff over a 10-day period. This allows an efficient system of processing patient and research samples.
