Jonathan Kofi Adjei

Jonathan Kofi Adjei is currently a Ph.D. student at the Kumasi Center for Collaborative Medicine affiliated with the SkinNTD Group led by Professor Richard Odame Phillips. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (Haematology) from University of Ghana. He also has a Master of Philosophy Degree in Immunology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked as a research assistant for 6 years and has experience working as a clinical laboratory scientist in public and private laboratories in Ghana.
The research for his Ph.D. focuses on identifying immune biomarkers for treatment response in Buruli ulcer disease and is supported by the BuruliNox study which is part of the EDCTP2 programme supported by the European Union (101897 BuruliNox TMA 2016 SF-1509). Over his relatively short career, he has produced 13 peer-reviewed journal articles ().
