Staffing KCCR employs 50 permanent staff including research scientist, laboratory technologists and technicians, administrative and secretarial staff, field workers and drivers, as well as 75 temporarily employed hospital and field personnel for various projects. Key among them include:
Capacity Building/Postgraduate Training One of KCCR’s major objectives has been to help building the capacity of local scientists to enable them imbibe the technology introduced on various projects by various collaborators. To ensure this, KCCR offers the opportunity for postgraduate training/research on its projects. Over the yeas 2 PhD and 10 Masters students have successfully defended their theses while 4 Ph.D. students and 5 Masters students are currently working ont heir theses projects.
